JEEEST!! W końcu dojechała paczka z pierwszą falą Kickstartera BattleTech Clan Invasion! Mimo opóźnień związanych z wirusem CGL dostarczył w całości to co miało się znaleźć w tej części zobowiązania. Najbliższe kilka postów dotyczyć więc będzie elementów jakie dostałem w swojej paczce, bo zmieścić wszystko w jednym poście byłoby trudno i TL/DR. Zobaczmy zatem co przyjechało i czy wszystko spełnia oczekiwania. Zaczniemy od drobiazgów i gadżetów, aby powoli przechodzić do sedna.
IT'S HERE!! The package with the first wave of BattleTech Clan Invasion Kickstarter finally arrived! Despite the delays associated with the virus, CGL delivered in full what was to be included in this part of the commitment. The next few posts will concern the stuff I got in my package, because it would be difficult to put everything in one post and TL / DR. So let's see what has arrived and whether everything met the expectations. We will start with small things and swag in order to slowly get to the bottom line.
Na pierwszy ogień idzie BattleTechowa koszulka. Z przodu ma wielkie logo wybranej przez siebie frakcji (można było wybrać ze 30 opcji), z tyłu napis jaki widać. To nie moja pierwsza oficjalna BTechowa koszulka, bo z racji bycia Demo Agentem dostałem już kiedyś dwie inne firmowe, poza tym w ramach Solaris7.pl zrobiliśmy kiedyś sobie forumowe koszulki, więc ta poszerzy kolekcję. No i, Davion represent.😃
The BattleTech T-shirt goes first. On the front he has a large logo of his chosen faction (you could choose from 30 options), on the back there is an inscription as seen above. This is not my first official T-shirt, because due to being a Demo Agent, I have already received two other company T-shirts, besides, as part of Solaris7.pl, we made some forum T-shirts, so this one will expand the collection. And, Davion represent.😃
Przypinka. Przyjechała w widocznym na zdjęciu pudełeczku więc bez żadnych uszkodzeń. Co do symbolu frakcji, można dostrzec trend, czyż tak? 😄

Przylepiec z wiadomym już logiem frakcji. Patch jest całkiem spory, oczywiście na taśmie velcro. Muszę w ogóle wykombinować sobie jakąś kurtkę gdzie ponalepiam i poprzypinam te wszystkie gadżety zwłaszcza że mam jeszcze stos Agenckiego swagu do umieszczenia. Tutaj jest fajna kurtka, ale 129$ to trochę srogo.
A patch with the already known faction logo. The patch is quite big, and mounted on a velcro tape of course. I have to find a jacket where I stick and pin all these gadgets, especially since I still have a pile of Agent Swag to put on. Here's a nice jacket, but $129 is a bit expensive.

A dog-tag with the symbol of a clan Codex (a bracelet containing the genetic legacy of a Clan Warrior and his/her merits). As you can see it also serves an additional role.😁
Zestaw plakatów autorstwa m.in Marco Mazzoniego i Anthony'ego Scrogginsa. W komplecie dostaje się trzy dwustronne plakaty co powoduje problem że nie można oglądać wszystkich obrazków jednocześnie. Ale spoko... już wiem skąd wziąć drugi zestaw.😁
A set of posters by, among others, Marco Mazzoni and Anthony Scroggins. The set includes three double-sided posters, which causes the problem that you cannot have all the pictures at the same time. But ok... I already know where to get the second set. 😁
Zestaw dwóch frakcyjnych k6, gdzie symbol zastępuje cyfrę 6. Generalnie to najsłabszy element całego kickstartera. CGL samo się przyznało że dało ciała z kontrolą jakości i wiele kostek ma poprzesuwane symbole (jak u mnie po lewej) albo w ogóle kostki to krzywe sześciany. W porównaniu z kostkami jakie robiono kiedyś na GenCony czy z produktem z Q-Workshop wypadają słabo. CGL zrobiło już ankietę odnośnie jakości kostek, ale czy będą wymieniać wadliwe produkty nie wiem.
A set of two factional d6s, where the symbol replaces the number 6. Generally it is the weakest element of the whole kickstarter. CGL itself admitted that it failed with quality control here and many dice have shifted symbols (like on my left) or even dice themselves are crooked cubes. Compared to dice that were once made for GenCons or with the product from Q-Workshop, they look poor. CGL has already done a survey regarding the quality of the dice, but I do not know if they will replace defective products.
Tzw. challenge coin. W uniwersum BattleTecha tego rodzaju monet używano przy Klanowej procedurze batchall, do ustalania kto pierwszy rozpoczyna licytację jakich sił użyje. Czyli taki odpowiednik orła i reszki. Moneta jest metalowa i dla ochrony zamknięta w plastikowym pudełeczku. Ot taki gadżet.
The so-called challenge coin. In the BattleTech universe, this type of coin was used in the Clan batchall procedure to determine who would first bid away his forces. So it's the equivalent of heads and tails game. The coin is metal and closed in a plastic box for protection. Just a gadget.
Kartonowe zamienniki figurek. Trzy dwustronne arkusze zawierające zarówno Mechy z pierwszej fali Clan Invasion jak i z pudełka AGoAC. Można na przykład wykorzystać na urlopie kiedy nie mamy miejsca na zabranie figurek. Kartonowe figurki i papierowe mapy zajmują mniej miejsca w walizce.
Cardboard miniature standees. Three double-sided sheets containing both Mechs from the first wave of the Clan Invasion and from the AGoAC box. For example, you can take them on vacation when you don't have space to take miniatures. Cardboard standees and paper maps take up less space in a suitcase.
Dodatkowe karty Mechów. Poza zestawem kart które znajdują się bezpośrednio w pudle, mamy jeszcze dodatkowy zeszyt kart który zawiera wszystkie Mechy wydane w pierwszej fali oraz Mechy z Beginner Boxa i AGoAC. Fajnie że są również dodane późniejsze wersje sferycznych Mechów z okresu Inwazji Klanów. Na pewno przydatna rzecz.
Additional Mech sheets. In addition to the set of sheets that are directly in the box, we also have an additional book of sheets that includes all the Mechs released in the first wave, as well as the Beginner Box and AGoAC Mechs. It's good that the later versions of the spherical Mechs from the Clan Invasion period are also added. A useful thing for sure.
Dwa zestawy kart wyjątkowych pilotów. Kontynuacja trendu zapoczątkowanego przez nowe boxy startowe. Każdy z pilotów ma dodatkowe cechy specjalne (opisane dogłębniej w Campaign Operations), które pozwalają na wzbogacenie rozgrywki. Karty dotyczą zarówno MechaWojowników Klanów jak i Sfery Wewnętrznej.
Two sets of special pilots cards. A continuation of the trend initiated by new starter boxes. Each of the pilots has additional special features (described in more detail in Campaign Operations) that allow you to enrich the game. The cards apply to both the Clan and Inner Sphere MechWarriors.
Zestawy kart pilotów. W odróżnieniu od poprzednich karty zawierają krótki opis Mechawojownika, frakcję, maszynę którą pilotują a na rewersie pełen portret. Spytacie po co to? Po pierwsze na pewnym poziomie wsparcia można było zostać unieśmiertelnionym na łamach uniwersum. Można znaleźć się na kartach jakiejś powieści, albo w którymś dodatku. A Ci którzy dodatkowo zdecydowali się na podesłanie zdjęcia trafili na przykład do takiego decku. Po drugie był to sposób CGLu na podziękowanie niektórym filarom ogólnoświatowego fanbase'u BattleTecha. A po trzecie, jeśli gracie na przykład w BattleTechowego RPGa (nie ważne w którą edycję) to macie w rękach doskonałą bazę NPCów.
Pilot card sets. Unlike the previous ones, the cards contain only a short description of the MechWarrior, his/her faction, the machine they are piloting and a full portrait on the back . What is this for? First, at a certain backer level, you could become immortalized in the universe. You will be able to find yourself on the pages of a novel or in a sourcebook. And those who additionally decided to send a photo were sometimes put in such a deck. Second, it was CGL's way of thanking some pillars of the worldwide BattleTech fanbase. And thirdly, if you play, for example, BattleTech RPG (no matter which edition), you have an excellent base of NPCs in your hands.
